Services
Counselling is about more than quick fixes or surface solutions. It’s about slowing down, being heard, and finding healthier ways to navigate the stress, emotions, and relationships that shape your life.
We provide counselling for individuals, couples, and those seeking a Christian perspective—offered in-person in Toronto or online anywhere in Ontario.
Sliding scale spots are also available.

Life transitions, stress, and anxiety can leave you feeling unsettled and unsure of how to move forward. You may notice yourself overthinking, struggling to manage emotions, or repeating patterns that don’t serve you.
Individual counselling gives you a supportive space to slow down, explore what’s really happening beneath the surface, and build healthier ways of coping. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy, we’ll look at the emotions and patterns that often drive your reactions, and practice new strategies for responding differently.
Through this process, you’ll begin to:
Understand emotional triggers and unhelpful patterns
Calm overwhelming responses in daily life
Build confidence, clarity, and resilience

Every couple has moments of conflict, silence, or distance. But when those cycles become the norm, it can feel like you’re on opposite teams, unable to break free.
Couples counselling offers a safe place to slow down and reconnect. Through EFT, we help you and your partner identify the patterns that keep you stuck—whether it’s shutting down, pursuing, or misreading one another—and create new ways of engaging that feel safer and more supportive.
With guidance and practice, couples learn how to:
Recognize the patterns that keep you stuck
Communicate emotions in safer, healthier ways
Rebuild trust and restore closeness

Many men carry silent pressures: to provide, to lead, to stay composed, or to always “have it together.” Over time, that weight can lead to stress, withdrawal, or self-doubt, often without a place to talk about it openly.
Men’s counselling creates a judgment-free space where you can put words to those unspoken struggles. Using EFT, we’ll uncover the emotions beneath the pressure, reframe how you respond to them, and practice healthier ways to show up—for yourself, for your family, and in your work.
This process can help you:
Put words to stress, self-doubt, or unmet expectations
Reframe emotions without judgment
Develop healthier ways to lead, connect, and find balance

Faith often shapes the way we see ourselves, others, and the challenges we face. Yet it can feel complicated when emotional struggles—fear, shame, conflict, or doubt—seem to pull us out of alignment with what we believe.
Christian counselling weaves biblical truth into the EFT framework, addressing both the emotional and spiritual layers of your story. Together, we explore how your faith intersects with your struggles, and create space for God’s presence to bring strength, healing, and renewal.
In this process, you’ll be supported to:
Work through fear, shame, or conflict in light of God’s presence
Align your inner life with your lived faith
Experience hope and strength that flows from spiritual and emotional renewal

Our work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based model that helps people identify and change the emotional patterns fueling stress, anxiety, and disconnection. EFT provides a framework for moving out of stuck cycles and building stronger, more secure connections.

The first session is about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brought you to counselling. We’ll talk about what’s been most challenging for you and start identifying patterns that might be keeping you stuck. In the next sessions, we’ll begin using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore the emotions driving those patterns and practice new ways of responding. Many clients say the first few sessions bring a sense of relief—simply having a safe space to talk and feel understood is often a big first step.
